Do I need to register in Kazakhstan?
According to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, foreigners temporarily residing in our country are to be registered in the corresponding government body. Registration in the internal affairs bodies should be made within 5 days upon the arrival to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The registration procedure has the following amendments:
Citizens of Australia, Austria, Belgium, the Great Britain, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zeeland, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, the USA, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, France, the FRG, Japan and the Republic of Korea can get the registration stamp in their passports upon the visa issuance in the consulates of the Republic of Kazakhstan abroad or at the moment of the border control in one of 12 international airports of Kazakhstan – with two stamps available.
Note: after registration of the passport in the consulate abroad or at the border control in the international airport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, you won't have to apply to police for registration. If a foreigner does not have the registration made in a border check point of the international airport, he has a right to be registered at the migration police at his location. The registration service is free.
What is the best season to visit Kazakhstan?
We believe that every season is great for visiting Kazakhstan. Winter is the time for a ski holiday.

Is Kazakhstan safe for foreigners?
In the ranking of the safest countries for tourists, compiled by the nongovernmental foundation World Economic Forum, Kazakhstan ranked 58th. A total rating covered 136 countries, the main criteria were the risks associated with violence and terrorism.Kazakhstan is ahead of France and Italy. Experts found Kazakhstan a safer place than even the United Kingdom and the United States.
What personal gear should I take on a trip?
On our tours, we recommend always having the following items and objects: documents (border zone!), A backpack, a raincoat, a cream from and after sun, sunglasses, a hat or a cap, comfortable shoes for walking: closed sandals and high shoes or sneakers, windbreaker, trousers with thick material, shorts, light shirt or shirt, personal care products, first aid kit. In cold weather or in highlands, warm clothes. All equipment depends on the chosen route, time of year, as well as on the individual characteristics of the tourist.

Drinking tap water is not recommended but you can use boiled water. Bottled water can be bought throughout the country.
