This tour is intended for photographers, who find it very important to take photos at sunrise and sunset.
SUVtours team drew up a program combining the overnight stays at a hotel and in a tent so as not to miss the best light for taking photos in all wild sites of Almaty region. An opportunity to picture the beauties of Kazakhstan at the best time of the day while getting acquainted with the Kazakh cuisine and culture make this tour best for travelling photographers.

- We will visit the Altyn Emel Natural Park which is the largest in Kazakhstan

- At 05.00 a.m., we are leaving the hotel and are heading for Big Almaty Lake. We will have 3 hours to explore lakes and search for the best location to take photos.
- After that, we are going to see Tamgaly-Tas petroglyphs, where we'll take photos of the Ili River from cliffs and of the Buddhist rock drawings.
- At 1:00 p.m., we'll have lunch in Kapchagay city.
- By the evening at 5:00 p.m. we'll reach the Singing Barkhan, watch the sunset on the top and set up a camp nearby.
- Dinner cooked on fire will be a perfect end of the night.
- We are watching the sunrise together with the Singing Barkhan at 7:00 a.m., having breakfast and leaving to Basshi village, where we will take a shower, take photos of the authentic village and have lunch.
- At 1:00 p.m., we are going to the Aktau Mountains. We'll make two stops on the way: by a 700-Year-Old Willow and in the Katutau Mountains.
- At 4.00 p.m., we'll set up a camp in the Aktau Mountains and go hiking in order to find the best place for taking photos at sunset.
- At 7:00 p.m., we'll have dinner at the camp.
- We are watching the sunrise in the Aktau Mountains and are leaving for Zharkent city. We will visit the Tiger Mountains on the way.
- At 1:00 p.m., we'll have lunch in Zharkent and explore Zharkent Mosque and a local bazaar.
- We'll stay overnight at Chundzha hot springs having open-air swimming pools.
- At 7:00 p.m., we'll try "Beshbarmak" – a traditional Kazakh dish - and enjoy our rest in hot springs after two days in a desert.
- At 8.30 a.m., we are having breakfast at the hotel.
- We will visit three canyons today: Temerlik, Bestamak and Moon Canyon.
- At 2:00 p.m., we'll have lunch by the Charyn River and drive to Tuzkol Lake, set up a camp there and take photos of Khan Tengri Peak reflecting in the lake water.
- At 7:00 p.m., we are having lunch at the camp.
- After sunrise and photo session, we are having breakfast and leaving for Saty village; we will have lunch there and take photos of local old houses.
- At 2:00 p.m., we are going to Kaindy Lake. We are walking around the lake, and a guide will show us the best places for taking photos.
- We are heading for Kolsay lake after the walk, where we'll watch the sunset and stay overnight at a guest house by the lake.
- Dinner and campfire will be a great end of the day.
- We are watching the sunrise by Kolsay Lake, having breakfast and going hiking towards the middle Kolsay Lake.
- One-way trip will take us around 3 hours. You will have an opportunity to cover this distance on a horse (cost extra).
- We'll stay for two hours by the middle Kolsay Lake.
- At 1:00 p.m., after lunch, we are going back and are driving to the "Valley of Castles" Charyn Canyon. We will watch the sunset from the observation deck in the canyon and will go down to the Charyn River to spend a night in a bungalow.
- We'll have dinner in a cafe in the canyon.
- We are watching the sunrise from the top of the canyon, having breakfast and are leaving at 9:00 a.m. for the Bartogai Reservoir.
- After a short stop, we will drive 100 km off road on the most picturesque gorge of Almaty region through Assy Plateau.
- We will have lunch at 2:00 p.m. by the river, visit a red canyon and take photos of zhailyau (a pasture located high in mountains).
- We will be descending through Turgen Gorge, where we'll have dinner and go back to Almaty afterwards.

Every evening, Internet will be available at the hotel or guest house. Your guide will distribute the Internet during the ride and you can use it wherever possible.
You can rent a horse for a walk on Lake Kaindy or ride a horse to the middle lake Kolsai. The approximate rental price is 50 USD per person.
