10-Day Central Asia Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Almaty to Saty Village (Charyn Canyon & Kolsai Lake)
Morning: Start your journey from Almaty at 8:00 a.m. Drive to Charyn Canyon, a stunning natural wonder known for its "Valley of Castles." Spend 2-3 hours exploring the canyon.

Midday: Enjoy lunch at Tary Restaurant.

Afternoon: Continue your drive to Saty Village with a stop at Kolsai Lake for breathtaking views and free time to relax.

Evening: Dinner and overnight at Kolsai Hotel or a local guesthouse.
Day 2
Kaindy Lake and Kolsai Lake Exploration
Morning: After breakfast, visit the mystical Kaindy Lake, famous for its submerged forest. Enjoy a 2-3 hour walk around the area.

Midday: Return to Saty Village for lunch.

Afternoon: Spend time at Kolsai Lake, enjoying free time for hiking, photography, or simply soaking in the serene surroundings.

Day 3
Saty to Karakol (Crossing into Kyrgyzstan)
Morning: After breakfast, drive to Kyrgyzstan, passing through the striking Black and Moon Canyons with panoramic stops.

Midday: Lunch in Karakol city.

Afternoon: Explore Karakol's main attractions, including the Dungan Mosque, Orthodox Church, and local bazaars.

Day 4
Altyn Arashan / Sary-Jaz – Kara Tash Hot Springs
Morning: Breakfast at the guesthouse. Depart for an excursion to Altyn Arashan (a scenic alpine valley with hot springs) or Sary-Jaz (a remote wilderness near the Chinese border).

Midday: Relax in the Kara Tash Hot Springs, soaking in natural thermal pools surrounded by mountains.

Day 6
Kadzhisai to Bishkek (Eagle Hunting)
Morning: After breakfast, head to Aksai Canyon for a unique eagle hunting demonstration, showcasing this ancient Kyrgyz tradition

Midday: Drive to Bishkek, stopping for lunch en route and visiting the historic Burana Tower, a remnant of the ancient Silk Road.

Evening: Dinner in Bishkek and overnight at a city hotel.
Day 7
Bishkek to Tashkent
Morning: Enjoy breakfast, then explore Bishkek’s highlights, including Osh Market, Ala-Too Square, and the Central Mosque.

Midday: Lunch in Bishkek before transferring to the airport.

Evening: Fly to Tashkent. Transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 8
Tashkent to Samarkand
Morning: After breakfast, take a fast train to Samarkand (08:30–10:20).

Midday: Begin your city tour, visiting Gur-Emir Mausoleum, Registan Square, Bibi-Khanym Mosque, Siyab Bazaar, Ulugbek Observatory, and Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis.

Evening: Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Samarkand.
Day 9
Samarkand to Bukhara
Morning: Take the speed train to Bukhara (09:00–11:30) after breakfast.

Midday: Enjoy lunch and check in to your hotel.

Afternoon: Tour Bukhara’s historic gems, including Sitora-i Mohi Hosa Palace, Bahauddin Naqshbandi Complex, and Chor-Bakr Necropolis.

Evening: Dinner at a European-style restaurant. Overnight in Bukhara.
Day 10
Bukhara to Tashkent (Return to Almaty)
Morning: Explore Bukhara’s key sights, including the Ismail Samani Mausoleum, Chor-Minor, Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum, Poli-Kalon Ensemble, and Miri-Arab Madrasa.
